The 9 Best Wedding Venues In Vancouver

Congratulations on getting engaged and entering the wedding planning phase!! Perhaps you are completely chilled out about this part or maybe it just makes you stress sweat like crazy. Whichever camp you’re in, I hope this list of the best wedding venues in Vancouver gets you excited and helps you find the perfect place to say “I do!”

Keep in mind, this list includes Vancouver wedding venues I’ve shot at, venues where I’ve attended weddings, and venues I have on my photography bucket list.

1. Fraser River Lodge, Agassiz (A Harrison Hot Springs Wedding!)

Fraser River Lodge is a stunning venue directly on the shore of the Fraser River. I had the honor of being my sister’s maid of honor and wedding photographer at this venue, and let me tell you the mountain view took my breath away!! Having a Fraser River Lodge wedding means you will have 18 riverfront acres all to yourself and can really play into a bohemian wedding theme!

According to their website, the lodge can accommodate 2-200 people inside and outside, has a bridal suite and man cave for getting ready, includes a Michelin-star Chef and Bar AND has a honeymoon suite. So, you can head straight to your suite after your reception has finished, or if you prefer to get away then Harrison Hot Springs is a 10 minute drive.

This venue also offers other activities including fishing holidays, helicopter adventures, axe throwing, trap shooting, golf, archery, and hiking. So if you decide to extend your stay here after your wedding day you will have no shortage of things to do together!

Possible wedding themes: Rustic, bohemian, southern-inspired, winter wonderland.

Highlights: 18 acres of land for your wedding photos, getting ready suites available, can accommodate large or small groups, food and drink offered through the lodge, honeymoon suite (and other rooms) available for an overnight stay, lots of outdoor activities to choose from.

2. Swaneset Bay Resort and Country Club, Pitt Meadows

Swaneset Bay Resort and Country Club is not too far from one of my favorite engagement photo locations, Pitt Lake. Both spots share the same incredible mountain view. According to the website, you will have indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and a ballroom for receptions of up to 350 guests.

You will be assigned an Event Manager that will attend to your day and your needs to ease your planning stress! When you visit their website you will see various “Banquet Packages” available which include customized seating plans, set up of your ceremony chairs, use of the bridal suite, and other options.

Swaneset staffs an award-winning culinary team who can create a customized menu or buffet.

Possible wedding themes: Fairytale, romantic, modern, elegant, dramatic.

Highlights: Event manager and various packages available to take the planning stress off of you, accommodates a large number of guests, the property and Pitt Lake nearby are stunning for wedding portraits, and incredible food and drink options.

3. The Redwoods Golf Course, Langley

The Redwoods Golf Course website describes exchanging vows outside on a summer’s day surrounded by flowers and towering redwood trees, with a stunning coastal mountain backdrop. How great does that sound? I got to find out when I shot the wedding of my dear friends, Jordan and Brooklyn.

Redwoods Golf Course weddings offer an incredible all-inclusive wedding package (find the package here) where they’ve thought of everything from a romantic marquee event tent for up to 150 guests, to a full service staff for your reception, as well as a decor package for your ceremony and reception!

When you look at the list of wedding package features you will realize you won’t have to lift a finger to get married in style!

Possible wedding themes: Fairytale, romantic, whimsical, nature, garden party, elegant.

Highlights: Extensive wedding package that includes everything you need, responsive staff that will help you plan your wedding day, and mountain views.

4. Estate 248 Venue, Langley

One of the best small wedding venues in Vancouver, Estate 248 is located in the Poppy Estate Golf Course. It’s a rustic farmhouse wedding dream come true with barns, a farmhouse bridal suite, and flowers.

Poppy Estate Golf Course weddings offer many items for rent including decor for the barn posts, and long hand-crafted harvest tables for your reception.

This rustic wedding venue offers event bookings from mid-April to mid-October and has a maximum capacity of 125 guests.

Possible wedding themes: Rustic, farmhouse, garden party, nature, southern-inspired.

5. Hycroft Manor, Vancouver

The photos below are from an editorial I shot at Hycroft Manor! This Edwardian gem is the perfect fairytale venue with its elegant Drawing Room and Green Solarium.

Renting the whole house for your Hycroft Manor wedding means you will have access to the Terrace, the Rose Garden, the Juliet Balcony (all pictured below), assistance from staff, getting ready suites, and more (see wedding package information here)!

Possible wedding themes: Fairytale, classic, elegant, garden party, romantic.

Highlights: Large property for a variety of wedding portraits, wedding package available.

6. Brock House Restaurant, Vancouver

Their website says it best: “Brock House Restaurant boasts one of Vancouver’s most romantic and spectacular ceremony sites” due to its incredibly polished garden, waterfront views on Jericho Beach, and the historic Tudor-Style home on the property. Your reception will be no less spectacular with the incredible dining experience offered for your wedding reception!

Brock House Vancouver weddings give you access to the entire Heritage Home including a bridal suite, the Conservatory, the Garden Tent, and various rental items like linens and dishware. You will be assigned a Banquet Manager to manage the details of your wedding. Sounds to me like you can give yourselves and your guests a once-in-a-lifetime experience and you’ll have to do very little work to get it thanks to the Brock House Restaurant staff!

Possible wedding themes: Romantic, elegant, classy, fairytale, traditional, modern.

Highlights: Use of the entire venue, detailed wedding packages, incredible views, and spectacular catering options. The venue also offers staff to assist you with your wedding planning.

7. The Falls Golf Club, Chilliwack

The Falls Golf Club’s website describes its property as a “dramatic landscape carved from the foothills of Mount Cheam”.

Sounds like an incredible location to frolic with your babe during wedding portraits!! My best friend got married here so I was able to experience this lush green dream of a venue myself!

This venue offers detailed wedding packages (see packages here) that cater to smaller intimate weddings and larger weddings of up to 170 guests.

Some of my favorite details from these wedding packages include crystal chandeliers, complimentary GOLF CARTS for your bridal portraits, and a rustic wooden arbor. You can select a catering package or build your own menu.

Possible wedding themes: Rustic, elegant, nature, garden party, spring, winter wonderland, romantic, fairytale.

Highlights: Detailed wedding packages, options for up to 170 guests, catering package or build your own menu.

8. Airside Event Spaces, Abbotsford International Airport

How cool is this?! Airside Event Spaces is a private airport hangar in view of Mount Baker. It offers in-house catering and on-site help with the logistics of your wedding day.

This incredible Mount Baker wedding venue will provide two airplanes to use for your wedding photo background, and you can even arrange to FLY IN for a unique arrival at your wedding. In addition to airplanes, this venue will also provide various other essentials like tables and chairs, a dressing room, stage lighting, audio visual equipment, projectors and screens, and an infinity photo wall.

Although they offer almost everything you will need for your big day, this airport hangar is also a blank slate that you can dress up in whatever theme you’re dreaming of.

Possible wedding themes: Basically any theme you can think of given that this is a blank slate airport hangar!

Highlights: Booking includes almost everything you’ll need — this blank slate building gives you room to create your dream wedding with mountain views, and an option to use airplanes as a photo backdrop or to fly into your wedding.
